ABOUT ME

K. Marin Stuff is an Phoenix, AZ based Theatre practitioner, with years of experience as a Special Effects artist, Props Master, and theatrical coordinator.

 

It wasn't till I was in college and beginning to make life changing decisions for myself that I discovered theatre. But it only took the first interaction for me to fall in love. After I took my first theatrical makeup class, I became the head makeup designer for my community college. It was a lot to take on right after starting college but I fell in love with the entire process. I am almost entirely self-taught since there is a limited amount of information on special effects in the traditional college setting. I continued on with my education to attend Northern Arizona University and graduate with a BA in Theatre with an emphasis in Design and Technology.

Since graduating mid-COVID, my after school plan has gone a bit awry. I have worked on a few smaller projects in a more design and management roll and was a makeup artist at haunted houses during the season.
